Where are your products made?
Our cotton towels, robes, blankets, Peshtemals and every other product on our website is woven by craftsmen/women in towns in Turkey.

Are they really absorbent?
They are. Even the thinnest towel can hold up to 20 times its weight in water, and dries much more quickly than a terry cloth towel. They are highly absorbent. All our Turkish towels dry much faster than a traditional terry cloth towel.

Are they really soft?
They are. We select the softest Turkish cotton, woven especially for this quality. 

What is the difference between Egyptian and Turkish cotton?
Turkish cotton is superior in many ways. The most pronounced are due to the difference of the length of the fibres produced by the cotton plants. Turkish cotton plants produce longer fibres, therefore there are fewer joints when spinning the yarn. This results in stronger textile, which in turn means your new treasure will last much longer. A wonderful side effect of the longer fibre is a softer, more absorbent textile.


How should I wash my towel?
Simply hand wash, or machine wash with non-chlorine detergent and like colours. Line dry, or tumble dry on lowest heat. For more detailed instructions, check out our Care Guide here.

Can I iron my towels?
Towels can be ironed, just take care to keep the iron set to low.

What certifications do your products have?
All our products are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified  and comply to the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard.
Our products are free from harmful chemicals and are absolutely safe for human use, from the youngest new-born to the elderly.

To attain Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.

The colour of my towel looks different than it does online.
As much as we try to faithfully reproduce each towel photographically, slight shifts in colour may occur.

Is international shipping available?
Yes. Although we mainly ship to Australia and New Zealand, we can/do ship overseas. Please send us a message (info@t-owl.com.au) and we'll do our best to help out.

Can I refund or exchange my order?
We're confident about the quality of our products and we want you to be happy with your purchase.

For all orders we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you decide the product is not for you, simply e-mail info@t-owl.com.au with your request to return your towel within thirty days. Upon approval, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping costs. All International sales are final.

Please note, if the product has been used we cannot take it back.

Is my transaction information safe with T-Owl?
T-Owl uses Shopify to process orders. Shopify retains extensive security measures and guarantees against fraud and identity theft. 

Will T-Owl give my information to third parties?
Absolutely not. We respect the privacy of our customers. Your information is used solely for the fulfillment of your order, and will never be shared with third parties.

When will back-ordered towels be back in stock?
To insure that you are updated with the most current information, please add your email to our mailing list. 

Where will my order be shipped from?
We are based in Sydney and send out your order the next day. 

I am having problems placing my order, what should I do?
We apologize if you experience any issues when trying to place your order. Typically any issues arising tend to be browser related. You can also try placing your order on a different browser (ie: Chrome, Safari, Explorer, Firefox) but if the problem persists, contact us at info@t-owl.com.au and we will help process your order manually. 

Do you have any bulk order discounts?
If you are interested in placing an order for a large quantity of products, please email us at info@t-owl.com.au to discuss pricing. 

Are there duties or taxes on international orders?
Please be aware that shipping charges do not include international taxes or duties. Contact the customs office in the destination country for information about any applicable duties or taxes before ordering. 

Why don’t I see any GST on my order?
T-Owl Pty Ltd is a small business and not GST registered.
